John Travolta Keeps Son's "TRUE" Illness In The Closet...

"According to John Travolta and Kelly Preston their 14-year-old son Jett suffers from Kawasaki syndrome, an illness characterized by high-fever, painful rash and lymph-node swelling. But in fact autism maybe the real culprit. Preston revealed that her son's disability was traced back to the "environmental toxins" found specifically in carpet cleaning chemicals. During a guest appearance three years ago on the Montel Williams Show she said that she put Jett on a detox program based on findings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Within a few months "he ended up getting better," but was still plagued by allergies. Here's the twist. John Travolta's brother Joey recently produced "Normal People Scare Me," a new documentary detailing autism. The film was co-directed by an autistic teenager and his mother. According to HollwoodInterrupted.com's Mark Ebner five sources including a media rep from the Autism Society of America all report that Jett in fact does suffer from the disorder. Why would John Travolta and Kelly Preston deny it? According to the doctrine of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard Jett would have been labeled a “degraded being” that brought the condition onto himself. Scientology doesn't recognize the disability nor have any methods to deter it. Rick Cross of CultNews.com suggests that if Jett is autistic Travolta and Preston may have avoided treatment because then their son "would have to go to psychiatrists, and that would be contrary to the teachings of Hubbard." One source (a major Hollywood producer and parent of an autistic child) said: "John Travolta has so far, done nothing to help raise awareness about autism."
