SPT- Don't Forget My Fish!

I decided to post a couple pictures of me and my fish. I had answered a 20 question game and one of those questions was, What is your most treasured item and why? After of course listing my children, I had to list my Fish. See my Fish is the ONLY thing that I have kept over the years. My mom moved me around a lot as a child and considering a lot of those moves were in the middle of the night, we weren't able to take "things" with us. At the age of eleven my great grandpa died (papa) and that is when I received this fish, since then it has been with me through years of tears, guilt, and mostly frustration. Every night I was alone, truly alone, I had my fish as a reminder that they were people who loved me, someone that, to their dying day looked at me as someone special. So if my house was burning down, my fish would come with me. Would I dive into a burning house to save my fish? Probably, after all I'd like to think Fish would do that for me too. They are so many 'bad' memories, so many awful things that I remember, through it all though my Fish has been by me, and yes it is a stuffed animal but it's the one thing I have kept. I have no childhood photos, no keep sakes, no baby clothes, or anything of that sort. Just my Fish, my fish and me. We both survived and now Fish can retire and enjoy his 'golden' years, after all he deserves it. :0) P.S. Why can I never seem to have time to put my flipping make-up on and do my hair??! I worked out tonight and took a shower, that is why my hair is all crazy (it's still wet). Oh and yes I do have freckles, leave me ALONE! ~Sigh~ I'm much prettier when I'm all made up, no really trust me I am. One day I will have to take a picture of a "pretty" me instead of lazy gym me.
