UPN & The WB, GONE!

Um, okay why?! Apparently UPN and WB are no more, or are very soon to become no more. It was announced this morning that a new network called CW from Warner Bros. and CBS will replace The WB and UPN this coming fall. The new network will draw on current shows from both The WB and UPN with each company owning 50 percent. Wow, okay whatever... I'm still not sure why or if anything big is going to change but since I don't ever watch those stations, doesn't really effect me. Blurbies... "Les Moonves of CBS said: "This new network will serve the public with high-quality programming and maintain our ongoing commitment to our diverse audience," The new network will broadcast such UPN shows as "America's Next Top Model," "Veronica Mars" and "Everybody Hates Chris," as well as WB programs "Beauty and the Geek," "Smallville" and "Gilmore Girls."

This is a good idea. UPN and WB have just become synonomous with crappy programming. Now, they can possibly trick us into watching "Girlfriends" for a couple episodes before we go "Hey, this sucks!".

LOL, okay glad I'm not the only one who watched Girlfriend a couple times before I vowed, "never again!".
