Let Me Know How You Really Feel...
I have a insane curiosity and love for "old" Hollywood and stars like Audrey Hepburn and Doris Day. There is a lovely actress, Audrey Tatou (from The Da Vinci Code) and people call her the "next" Audrey Hepburn. I would like to contest that only because there is ONE Audrey and she passed away, just like there is ONE Marilyn. I'm tired of the celebs trying to be Icons...
So what do you guys think?

I agree about icons of former days being incomarible, but I think Ms. Tatou is totally classic fab and a beatiful chick!
(And CERTAINLY more qualified to portray Ms. Hepburn than JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT in a remake film. Ugh.)

I like the look. She's not skanking it up like so many other people try to do.
But I do agree. There is only one.
I do like her look. But she is NO AUDREY. She is hands down my favorite actress in Hollywood history. I do get tired of celebs comparing themselves or trying to be old hollywood stars.
I love her hair.
She bears a striking resemblemce to Hepburn but there's only one Audrey. I think Tatou is very gifted, I loved Amelie. She certainly looks more like Audrey than wanna be Jen-Love-Spew-itt.

in the B&W photo she does look like Hepburn.. but it doesn't mean she can act like her. I assume this was just a photo shoot "gimik" to get more exposure.
She can only wish she could act as well.
More people should tune in to TCM (Turner Classic Movies) channel and get to know some excellent actors they otherwise will never have the chance to know.

I don't think anyone can replace Audrey Hepburn. Of course not.
But Audrey Tatou is just lovely. Haven't seen her act yet, but she is really a beautiful person.
No one can come close to Audrey Hepburn. Her beauty was way more than skin deep!

Sure, they have a similar look, but each one is their own special person. Audrey Tatou is absolutely fabulous and I never get tired of seeing her.
I think that Audrey Tatou is pretty and whatnot, but if she tries to be like Audrey Hepburn, she'll just look ugly and, um, fat (because, really, Audrey Hepburn never broke 98 lbs in her life!) and cute Ms Tatou should just try and do her own thing...
