Okay so did someone go on a coke binge? Cause that would seem the most likely explanation for wearing a hot pink sari and going shopping for a giant sized keyboard in the middle of the day.
Anyone else think it's rather odd?
On a small side note I LOVE saris, they can be so beautiful. I wanna wear one but somehow I'm not sure that would fly over here in suburbia. A white girl running around with a sari and her three kids? Yeah. Not so much.

As your resident Pakistani reader, I just want to say the media has it wrong about Nicole wearing a Sari. A sari is 6 yards of fabric wrapped around your body worn with a bra top inside. What Nicole is wearing is a Shalwar Kameez, it's worn traditionally in Pakistan and Bangladesh. It's basically just a long tunic and pants with a stole (dupatta), The stole can be draped across your chest (like Nicole is wearing it), or hung over your shoulder on the side. I sometimes wear this kind of outfit to parties where there are going to be alot of Indian/Pakistani people or cultural weddings. From the looks of the stuff Nicole is buying, it looks like she is going to a Indian or Pakistani wedding party, called a Mehndi or Sangeet. The synthesizer, the drum, it all screams wedding party. Either Nicole has a friend who is getting married, or this might be a stunt for a Simple Life clip. However, I do thing the outfit is doing a good job of making her look less anorexic. sorry for the long psa, but I didn't want people thinking this was a sari.

I had a party about a year or so ago and I could have REALLY used one. :0) If the chance ever arises you bet your bottom I'll be wearing one.
