What's Your View on "The View"?
Well the new news is that Rosie of course will be joining The View but she wont be sitting in Meredith's chair. They are planning a set change with Rosie to sit in the middle. Another interesting tid-bit is that Rosie is NOT ALLOWED to cut her hair short. Do you guys remember when she went all crazy and cut her hair? Well Barbara made sure she wouldn't be doing that on The View.
I still can't wait to see how the chemistry works out and if Rosie is going to be on her best behavior or come out flying. I've seen her show before and read interviews with her, she's always had STRONG opinions. I guess we will see how that all works out.
So what do you guys think about Rosie joining The View

I think it was a bad choice to begin with. She has no tact and doesn't know how to be nice. If Barbara was looking to boost ratings, it might work in the short run. Maybe viewers will tune in a couple times to see if Rosie eats Star Jones alive and bitch slaps Joy. Plus, she's a Tom Cruise lover so that automatically puts her on the crazy list.
I think they were looking for a middle aged mom with kids to replace Meredith. I would have rather they replaced Meredith with Soledad O'Brien. She's got four kids under age five, the two youngest being twins. That's someone I would have loved to see on that show.
I've never been a fan of that show but I'll check it out once or twice to see how Rosie does with Star. I was hoping they'd go for someone like Margret Cho personally.
I always thought the View can get any worst. My mistake, it can.

Kill Joy or Star? No way, I think it will be hardcore Republican Elisabeth to fall victim to Rosie first. Elisabeth has already said some things that I would imagine Rosie would rake her over the coals for.**
**Above comment is not meant to imply that I have ever or will ever watch the view on a regular basis. I've seen it a few times, but I usually only flip over to see if they have all killed each other yet.
I would have chosen someone, anyone else, to fill Meredith's shoes. I will tune in to see if she kills Star though.
You know how I feel.
I couldn't care less that's she's gay. What I DO care about is that her big mouth and big liberal opinions are grinding on my ears. I watch the View pretty regularly, but once Meredith is out, so am I.
The table isn't big enough for both Rosie and Star's egos.
And I guarantee she will make Elizabeth cry. Hmmm, well maybe I'll watch one show.
I used to really love Rosie's show. But I am not sure how she is going to do on the View.
I like how they all share their own views and have own opinions.....but with Rosie it seems like if you don't agree with her, she just writes you off as stupid, completely wrong, and not worth her time.
It will be interesting, to say the least.
